12 Days Of Craftmas! [Day 3]

Hi Darlings!

I'm honored to join this group of extremely talented women to help inspire you and make you smile all these days leading to Christmas.

For the next few days we will be sharing fun holiday projects with you, and I hope you take the time to join us each day.

Inspired by Carta Bella's "Winter Fun" paper pad, I created a shabby/vintage chic theme'd card with soft colors that are so sweet and gentle.

I copic colored Saturated Canary's new digital stamp called "Tree Topper", which has become my absolute most favorite Christmas stamp this year.  She is so adorably sweet and that one little bulb on that frail little tree just tugs at my heart.  I cut some coordinating paper with few dies and distressed everything with "Vintage Photo".  The flowers I used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, which I made "snowy" by adding Snow Tex and Stampendous Frantage embossing powder (one of my new favorites lately).

The sentiment comes from my "So Tinsel" stamp set, which I will be giving away to 1 lucky winner.  And as I usually do, I matted the inside with more of that gorgeous Carta Bella pattern paper.

Okay.  Now... let's talk BLOG CANDY!

1.  Follow my blog.
2.  LIKE my Facebook Page and leave a comment with your favorite Christmas song.
3.  Leave a comment below telling me your favorite Christmas Tradition.

Do all the above and you will be entered to win my "So Tinsel" stamp set (seen below).  This is open worldwide, and I will be shipping it to you as a gift and thank you for joining me today.

If you are interested in purchasing this set (or other sets), just click HERE.

I hope you've had a great time so far, and don't forget to stop by Lizzie & Cassandra's blog from the past 2 days.  Tomorrow Carisa will bring you a new Holiday project, don't miss it!  The schedule is below for you to keep track of.

Be Blessed, and Merry Christmas!!!

Fave Christmas tradition? Hmmm we have so many but I think top on the list is after dinner the while family sits down at the table with tangerines, chestnuts and plays italian bingo. It's called Tombola. We play for money, 25 cents a card, not much, and play for hours. Somehow there's always cheating and yelling but that's the fun of it! Hahaha!
Thanks for the chance!

Favorite Christmas Tradition? Ummm TAMALES! I love to eat and stuff my face with as many tamales as I can on Christmas Eve and then I have the biggest food hang over ever on Christmas but it's okay b/c I just lay on the couch and watch the kiddos play with their new goodies. Yes... that is my favorite! hahaha

my fav tradition is when we put up the Christmas tree. we have this silly Disney character cd that we play. it's got mickey and goofy and the gang. doesn't sound so bad 'til I tell you my kids are 32 and 41 now and we still do it and have passed the tradition on to them.

Your card is just gorgeous. Favourtie Christmas tradition is the big family shot where everyone tries to squeeze into the frame, just before everyone starts to feast.

I adore your blog....so happy to be a follower! I liked your fb page as well. My fave Christmas tradition is a few nights before Christmas we pile in the car and driver to the more affluent neighborhoods and check out their lights and decorations. Then we come home, make hot chocolate and pop in A Christmas Story and make Christmas crafts or cookies to give to our neighbors as gifts.

Damaris this card is beautiful. I love the many flowers, the color you used and the many elements is perfect. My favorite Christmas tradition is when my sister and borthers can all meet up at my parents home. Its always filled with joy, love and fussing but we make it through the fussing. I really just love how my family and I do not go to bed with fussing and we can alway sit back and look at how far we been. Its truly a blessing to be around them. It sadden me to think that this will be one of the first years neither of use meet a my parents. =( but I think GOD for memories.

My fave Christmas tradition is celebrating the real reason for Christmas and getting together with family. EVERY thing else is secondary.
